an invitation

focus is power

There is a version of you that has always wanted to come out. Your most authentic self.

With a little refocusing and a bit of imagination you can find it: the version that brings you closer to being more you, every day.

about 20 minutes, a notebook, and you

before you start

the setup is everything

A good space makes all the difference. It tells your brain this is for real. A few ideas to help it flow:

A notebookideally a new one, used only for this
A penthe one you like holding most
A comfortable spot
Some musicwhatever connects you with your truest self
Incense, candles…anything that makes this feel like it matters
20 minutesuninterrupted, just for you

tap what you already have, the rest is optional

step 1 · the intention

what are you looking for in this process?

When you're ready, open your notebook to the first page and let out whatever comes. If you don't know where to start, start with this line:

My intention in starting this process is…

There is no right or wrong. Whatever flows, flows. It can be two lines or two pages. Whatever comes out is fine.

step 2 · write scene 1

a day in your life

  1. Imagine one day living as that most authentic version of you.
  2. Take a few seconds to feel it. Close your eyes if it helps.
  3. When you can feel it, write what you see in the present tense, as if it were already real. No editing.

Your body can't tell the difference between living it and imagining it vividly. Let that version find you. If nothing comes, start like this and let it flow:

It's an ordinary day and…

no judging, no editing, just go with whatever comes

I wake up and the first thing I feel is…

need more inspiration? knock on the door

knock as many times as you need…

I wake up and the first thing I feel is…
Today I'm wearing…
I walk down the street and notice…
Someone looks at me and sees…
My morning coffee tastes like…
Today I say yes to…
Today I say no to…
What used to be hard for me, today…
My body feels…
I laugh when…
I have time for…
I get home and I'm greeted by…
Before I sleep, I'm grateful for…

step 3 · other areas

what else would you like to refocus?

You've seen what your everyday looks like. Are there other areas of your life where you'd like to see that version too? Work, family, whatever comes to mind. If you can, find between 3 and 6, the ones that feel true.

in case it helps you get started:

For now, just name them.

when you feel the pull, write them from your best energy

If some are missing, you can always come back and add them. This is only a beginning.

step 4 · every morning

messages to your brain

Now that you have this, there are two last steps.

The next one is for your brain to remember it every day. To keep it close, to not forget. The invitation: when you wake up, before anything else, read or imagine your scenes. Then let them go, release them… that's exactly where the magic starts.

read, imagine, let go.

on waking, before you reach for your phone

step 5 · every night

collect evidence

Before you sleep, look back on your day and write one single line, for you: when did that version show up today?

Today that version showed up when…

one line is enough, the evidence piles up on its own

the process has already begun

focus is power

Just by getting this far, you've taken the first step.

May you enjoy the magic every day and get the chance to be a little more you each morning. The door stays open: come back whenever you need it.
